Our Partner Schools

Important changes in the administration of our partner schools
(Stand: June 2026)

At the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, our partner schools have got new school Principals for the second time since 2023: the new Principal of Sukuta Senior Secondary School is now Mr Manneh, and the new Principal of Sukuta Upper Basic School is Mr Darboe.
On 19 June 26, new members of the SMC Executive Committee for Sukuta SSS and UBS were elected at a general parents’ meeting held on the school compound. Each school now has its own SMC committee in accordance with the provisions of the Education Act and education policy, but the two committees will work together on general matters affecting the schools. They are not entirely separate from one another, as they are all located on the same site.

As part of a nationwide promotion programme for teachers, our partner school is being divided into a Sukuta Upper Basic School (grades 7 to 9) and a Sukuta Senior Secondary School (grades 10 to 12). According to Mr Dem, this is to create promotion posts.
The previous deputy head teachers have been transferred to other schools. The
management of Upper Basic School is now in the hands of Mrs Fadera and Mr Sambou. Mr Modou Dem is in charge of the Senior Secondary School; his deputies are Mr Jarr and Mr Saho. Otherwise, everything remains the same: the rooms will continue to be used jointly, conferences will be held jointly and teachers from the Upper Basic School can continue to teach at the Senior Secondary School.
